Physical: Asia takes the bloody brilliant Physical: 100 formula and cranks it up to an international showdown featuring elite athletes battling for national pride and a lazy $700k. It's engaging enough to binge in a weekend, with fair dinkum athletic feats and decent team dynamics, but gets bogged down by repetitive Korean drama-style editing that'll have you going "yeah nah, we got it mate!" at your telly. Also, absolutely spewing that Australia came up short in the death match.
Octopath Traveler II

Valve just dropped a bombshell: the Steam Machine is coming to Australia at launch in early 2026, and for once, we're not getting left behind. This cube-shaped living room console packs six times the power of the Steam Deck, promises 4K gaming at 60fps, and here's the kicker – no subscription fees for online multiplayer. While PlayStation and Xbox keep charging monthly fees just to play online, Steam lets you play for free. With pricing still TBA but expected somewhere between $750-$1,000 AUD, this could be the console alternative we've been waiting for. If Valve can deliver on their promises and nail the price point, the Steam Machine might actually shake up the living room gaming scene.

Just finished watching the Galaxies Autumn Showcase and wow, they really packed 50 games into an hour. My brain's still processing everything, but a few things definitely stood out. There was also this wild mix of everything - cyberpunk shooters, pirate survival games, even a vending machine management sim. That's the kind of variety I love seeing in these showcases.
